3800 Victory PkwyXavier University sponsors 18 intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division I level, including men’s and women’s teams in basketball, soccer, cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, swimming, golf and tennis. Xavier also competes in baseball and women’s volleyball. All but one of Xavier’s 18 sports competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Women’s golf competes in the CAA.
Xavier saw three teams qualify for NCAA Tournament competition this past academic year, including men’s basketball (sixth straight), women’s basketball (fifth straight) and men’s soccer. Men’s tennis has earned NCAA berths three of the last four years. Baseball, men’s golf, track and field, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball are among the other current Xavier sports that have recently earned spots or placed individuals in the NCAA field.
In addition to being nationally-competitive on the fields and courts, Xavier is consistently among the 25 schools in the nation in the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rates.
